DivideDCity is a FREE publication by DC residents about DC and for DC. Sponsored by Sol & Soul, a non-profit dedicated to the advancement of local artists, divideDCity is a work in progress.Even if everyone didn’t buy gas for a day, they would just buy tomorrow making this protest useless. While I buy the many reasons why gas prices are higher than they were in the past (Middle East tension, lack of refineries, China and India, speculators etc.) this would only account for part of the increase in oil. I still maintain as I have in the past, the oil companies are gouging us and need to be regulated like we do with electricity and natural gas, because it’s a necessity we need to survive. This is a bold statement coming from a pro-business like myself. There has to be collusion going on, because how else can you explain if these companies have their own oil reserves and refineries etc, how come all the prices are only a few pennies apart.

24 Season 6: Ha Ha This was a better episode than last week, where no much of nothing happened that I didn’t even recap it.
